Founders- This class is full of our wisest generation, a community of faithful believers committed to deepening their walk with Christ and encouraging one another through every season of life. With a strong foundation in Scripture, we engage in thoughtful Bible study, meaningful discussion, and intentional prayer. Many in this class have helped shape the legacy of our church through years of faithful service, and continue to lead by example through their wisdom, hospitality, and devotion to God’s Word. (Current Age Bracket: 70+)
Searchers- This class is a community of adults with a shared passion for digging deeper into God’s Word. Focused on thoughtful, study-based learning, we explore Scripture with the goal of growing in wisdom, strengthening our faith, and applying biblical truth to our daily lives. Each week includes guided teaching, open discussion, and time for prayer — all in a warm, welcoming environment. (Current Age Bracket: 55+)
Followers- Looking for a casual, come-as-you-are space to study the Bible and connect with others? Our Drop-In Bible Study is open to everyone — whether you attend regularly or just want to stop by when you can. Each week, we explore a passage of Scripture together, focusing on both understanding its meaning and how it applies to our everyday lives. (Current Age Bracket: 50+)
Friends and Followers- Led by a dynamic teacher with a strong background in Bible and theology, this class offers a welcoming space for anyone eager to grow in their faith. While it's home to many of our young adults, people of all ageas are part of the conversation. Together, we dive deep into scripture, explore how it applies to everyday life, and enjoy time together outside of Sunday mornings through fellowship and fun. (Current Age Bracket: 22-80, ALL are welcome!)
Waymakers- This class is a fresh start for anyone searching for community, connection, and a space to grow in faith. We’re a group of people figuring it out together — no expectations, no pressure. Each week, we ask honest questions, and talk about how faith intersects with real life. Come as you are, jump in when you can, and help shape this class into something meaningful — together. (Current Age Bracket: 20-50, ALL are welcome! )
Youth Sunday School- This class is open to our youth, ages 6th grade through graduation. Taught by our Associate Pastor, Mary Kate Myers, and Youth Assistant, Sarah Neubert, students are invited to explore their faith in a welcoming and relatable environment. Each week, we dive into Scripture to discover how God's Word speaks to the real challenges and questions teens face today — from friendships and identity to purpose and decision-making. Through open discussion, creative activities, and prayer, we aim to build a strong foundation of faith while encouraging students to grow in their relationship with Jesus and each other. (Current Age Bracket: 6th-12th grade)
HUMC Kids- Our Kids Sunday School class is a fun, safe, and engaging place where elementary-age children learn about God’s love and the Bible through age-appropriate lessons, games, crafts, and stories. Each week, kids explore key Bible truths and how they apply to their everyday lives — all while building friendships and growing in their faith. (Current Age Bracket: Kindergarten-5th grade)

Youth Group-
Two churches, one community — stronger together. The combined youth group of Hilldale UMC and Madison Street UMC brings students from across Clarksville together for connection, fun, and faith. Designed for middle and high school students, this group offers a place to belong, grow, and explore what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life.
Each week includes engaging Bible lessons, real-life conversations, games, worship, service opportunities, and more. We rotate between campuses to build unity and keep things fresh, with caring adult leaders from both churches walking alongside students every step of the way.
Whether you're a regular churchgoer or just curious, there's a place for you here. Come hang out, ask questions, make friends, and discover how your story fits into God’s bigger plan.
MidWeek Bible Study- Looking for a midweek spiritual refresh? Join us for a relaxed and enriching Bible study led by the pastor at Hilldale United Methodist Church. Each week, we dive into Scripture together — exploring its meaning, context, and how it speaks into our lives today.
Whether you're a lifelong Bible reader or just starting to explore God’s Word, this study offers something for everyone. The format is conversational and welcoming, with space for questions, reflection, and meaningful discussion. No preparation or prior knowledge needed — just come as you are, bring your Bible (or we’ll have one for you), and be part of the journey.
