Date Change The Youth-sponsored Parent’s Night Out has been

changed to Saturday, Dec. 20, 4-8 pm.

 

Room in the Inn  needs people to be innkeepers, prepare supper &

breakfast. If you can help out please sign up on the bulletin board outside

the church office.

 

Operation Christmas Child – Shoes Boxes are due

Hilldale’s Thanksgiving Banquet will be Sunday,  November 23, at 5 pm

in the CLC. It will be an  EVERYTHING  “Pitch-in”….meats, side dishes, desserts

(no dessert auction this year). Drinks will be provided. The program will be a fifteen

minute fall musical presented by our children. In order to have enough place settings,

seating, etc., sign the Activity Sheet, or call the church office if you plan to attend.

 

Paint days at the new houses are set for Nov. 15, 22 &29.  Choose one or all.

Our Angel Tree is  in the narthex on Sunday Morning. You are encouraged to take

a name or two and wrap two gifts for each child, one a clothing item and one toy or

accessory item.

 

We suggest you spend no more than $50 per child.  Packages are to be returned to

the church no later than Wednesday, Dec. 10, so we can get them to Salvation Army

for delivery. This year Hilldale will not be delivering the gifts or preparing food baskets.

However, if you wish to help provide food for needy families you may make contributions

to the Salvation Army or Urban Ministries.

 

The children’s Advent Fair is December 7, 1-3 pm.  See Bulletin for details.

 

WANTED: SUNDAY Child Care worker - You must be 18 and willing to work every

other Sunday from 9 am to 12:15. This is a paid position, and additional hours may be

available in January. Please see Amy Napolitano if you are interested.
