Welcome!

In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

                                                          Proverbs 3:6

We are glad you stopped by for a visit! Hilldale is a growing congregation serving the city of Clarksville. Our mission is "Making Disciples of Jesus Christ!" Please browse these pages to learn more about our congregation and the United Methodist Church. Feel free to e-mail us with any questions or concerns you may have that need pastoral counseling and support, and we hope that you will visit with us this Sunday!

Our community gathers several times each week. Our regular Sunday Services are at 8:30 and 11:00 A.M. The Sunday School program begins at 9:50, with classes for all ages. Wonderful Wednesdays provide a wonderful supper for a nominal cost and Bible Study and choir programs. Our chancel Choir rehearses at 7:30 on Wednesdays.

We are located one block west of Clarksville Gateway Hospital, "up on the hill!" We are located directly across from Chic-Fil-A on Madison Street.

Special Note For Guests or Newcomers:   You are always welcome to Hilldale United Methodist Church.  If you need to take children to a nursery or have other special needs when you attend our services, see one of our ushers, who are readily identified by their white name tags and are located near entrances and throughout the narthex.   Call the church office at 931-647-2249 or email us for more information about our church or any of its programs.  You may also pick up one of our visitor's packets in the narthex.  These are updated regularly and contain information about all programs of the Church.

Text Box: A note on Youth Small Groups:
The Senior High small groups will be student led. We will focus on “Recognizing God’s Voice through all the Noise.” We are constantly surrounded by noise and the ever-increasing access to media distracts us from the “still small voice” of God. How can we glorify Him in these times?

The Junior High Accountability Groups (ACCT Groups) will be led by adults. Guys and Gals of middle school age face different struggles, and sometimes need to share in those separately.

Text Box: * 2008-2009 Education Committee: Judy Cloud (chair), Amy Napolitano (children), Deborah Boehms (children), Neil Heffelbower (youth), Sherri Williams (youth), Brian Henley (college/young adult), John Leutert (adults)

F. U. E. L. Program

The F. U. E. L. Program at Hilldale UMC covers the weekend needs of 50 children at a local school who receive no food except the food provided by school free breakfast and lunch programs.  There is a donation box by the elevator, and monetary donations are also encouraged.  Items need to be individually pre-packaged and easy to open--no glass, cans, or pull tops.  Contact Denise Skidmore for more information.

United Methodist Volunteers In Mission This organization is extensively involved in disaster relief efforts, including relief for Hurricane Katrina victims, throughout the world.  Click here for an overview, donation information, and contacts for volunteers.
